Our goal is to offer you a fresh, appealing and accessible online experience. The new platform gives us greater flexibility in provide content in easier-to-find formats. The new design puts more articles front and center.
For example, on the Leader home page, look for the tabbed presentation where you can choose to peruse Features, Columns, News or Member Stories. Scroll further down to view Most Read and Most Recent articles. Near the bottom of our new homepage, you can view cover images and click through to recent issues.
As with anything new, however, we’re still working to get the best fit. This means you might experience some inconveniences while we continue working to create appealing presentations and functionality, such as our January issue getting published on line later in the month.
Sites like these involve intensive development, so we ask for your patience as we work through some kinks. We will churn through fixes and refinements rapidly in the first few months of 2019.
Also starting early next year, we plan to bring Leader Live onto the new platform to form a cohesive website for all Leader print and online-only articles. This combined site means you can visit just one place to re-read or share a favorite print article, discover news stories related to the professions, and learn from your colleagues’ posts on successful tips that work for them.
If you encounter something major or any unusual changes in how things are working from one visit to the next, please don’t hesitate to let us know in the comments section below or by clicking on the “Contact Us” links at the bottom of the pages on the new site. And if you like particular features or wish the new ASHAWire had more of them, feel free to drop us a line or reach out via our social media channels.
We look forward to hearing how you like it!
