Convention in San Diego — well done.
Interested in learning how ASHA desired to promote a green environment with electronic program schedules, and electronic documents of events to reduce dependency on paper documents. Several of the sessions this year focused on real-time access to documentation as well as accessing the documents from ASHA (i.e., the Personal program scheduler). There were no available hotspots (especially free ones for conventioneers) thus many of the devices used by conventioneers were useless. There were a few people with access with 3-G (with radio transmitters) for computer tablets or notebooks as well as MiFi connections.
If a green environment were promoted, it would be nice to see free connections to hotspots during this event. Otherwise — great job ASHA.
